Pathways Into Music
The Pathways Into Music Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation that connects the music industry and music education through research, resources, thought-leadership, professional development programmes and industry events.
We seek to help music educators – in schools, colleges, universities and beyond – and youth and talent development organisations to better support future music and music industry talent, and to sign-post the many different pathways into music.
 SUPPORTING MUSIC EDUCATORS | INFO Pathways Into Music offers professional development programmes for music educators that provide teachers, tutors and lecturers, and people running education hubs, talent development programmes and youth organisations, with access to the latest insights about music careers and the music business. |
 SUPPORTING MUSIC CAREERS | INFO Pathways Into Music delivers sessions for young people interested in pursuing a career in music, in partnership with colleges and organisations like Help Musicians and MOBO Unsung. That includes our Artist Pathways workshops and mentoring programme, and our Pathways Into Music Careers event. |
 MIME CONFERENCE | INFO Pathways Into Music presents this annual conference bringing together everyone involved in supporting the next generation of music talent – on stage and behind the scenes – from within music education and the music industry. Past editions were staged in Brighton and Manchester – look out for news on our next event. |
 MAPPING RESEARCH | INFO Pathways Into Music has been mapping music-makers, the music industry, music education, music careers and music business resources, with a view to better connecting the different people, companies, institutions, programmes, platforms and guides that support future music talent. |
